VTB24 was established by VTB Bank to focus more closely on the interests of individuals and small companies. To strengthen its position in the VIP segment, VTB24 asked CampbellRigg to provide consultancy and develop the brand visual identity for ‘Privilege’ ‒ a private banking programme aimed at its high net worth customers.
The first step was to audit the environment. This enabled CampbellRigg to show how VTB24’s brand values could be communicated with more impact and how a more welcoming and engaging for customers could be achieved.
Their suggested improvements for the branches included increasing the emotional appeal of the entrance and ATM areas, lifting information to eye level and using colour, lighting and more comfortable seating to improve waiting areas. For the negotiating rooms used by priority account customers they concentrated on striking a good of visual brand expression with quality furnishings, finishes and fittings to communicate a warm yet business-like, premium but not pretentious, up-to-date style.
VTB24 also wanted to make the Privilege brand identity distinctive, with a mark that expressed higher status and special banking services. CampbellRigg created an eagle wing logo that has a universal appeal and symbolises attributes such as authority, power, strength, energy, and courage.
The CampbellRigg design adds finesse to the Privilege brand when applied across account promotional materials, and other brand touch points.
