Manchester based BDI member has delivered PrΩlong, a complete design and manufacturing management solution for a clinically proven treatment for premature ejaculation, which went on sale in Europe in May.
Andrew Hodgin, Lucid’s Director of Innovation explains: “Premature ejaculation affects relationships and people’s wellbeing. Since the 1950s, studies like Alfred Kinsey’s haveshown that three quarters of men ejaculate within two minutes in most sexual encounters. When Auris Medtech Europe asked our team to the PrΩlong treatment , we created a solution focused on the benefits of use, not the embarrassment of the problem.”
The results are startling. Dr Andy Zamar, Auris Medtech Europe’s MD reveals “In trials, 60% men reported lasting 11 times longer after six weeks of PrΩlong use. By comparison, 40% of men who had Gold Standard Treatment at two London teaching hospitals reported only a 3 - fold improvement”.
Lucid’s involvement in the project extended beyond device development into developing the PrΩlong brand positioning, corporate identity, multi-lingual and, instructions for use.
