New medical device design and manufacturing exhibition and conference

Med-Tech Innovation Expo will take place on 10 and 11 April 2013 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, UK.

Following the highly successful launch of Med-Tech Innovation magazine and web site in March 2011, Med-Tech Innovation is delighted to announce the extension of the brand into a major trade Expo in 2013.

There will be a two day conference, which will run alongside the exhibition together with a variety of show floor seminar sessions. The Expo will be a brand new, exciting platform that will further push and facilitate the essential networking and business opportunities the sector has to offer in the UK and on a global scale.

The event will bring together all parties involved in the development of new and next generation medical devices: academia, OEMs, clinicians, support and development agencies, investors and of course the supply chain service and product companies.

The top level, two day conference will include technical content from key industry figures. Its purpose is to inform and educate the design/R&D engineering community on a wide range of topics from materials and embedded systems to the latest design and manufacturing techniques, to help in bringing new and next generation devices to market more efficiently and effectively.

To complement the main conference there will also be an exhibitor presentation zone, a ‘show floor’ presentation theatre for exhibitors to deliver technical talks about their particular area of specialism and expertise. These will be free of charge for exhibition visitors but there are only a limited numbers of time slots available.

There will be a University presentation zone within the exhibition which will include a presentation theatre and exhibits from some of the country’s leading Universities.

They will be showcasing commercialisation and technology transfer opportunities and presenting highly specialised services they can provide to industry. It will provide an excellent platform to foster collaboration between academia and industry.
