The ‘Breeze’ high chair is the latest in an expanding range of commercial baby changing products designed and developed by BDI member for Magrini over the last ten years.
The chair offers many benefits for the consumer such as a very light weight yet robust construction while meeting the latest stringent safety standards. Ease of use is the key element; a choice of three handgrips makes it easy to lift with one hand, even while holding a child. Five or more chairs can be securely stacked with only minimal lifting (approx 15cm) required to remove each one.
The high chair is in the UK from a durable and recyclable HDPE plastic which makes it easy to maintain and clean. It is designed for quick and easy self-assembly and consists of five parts; two identical legs, a seat base and back and a safety bar. Just eight screws hold it together. The design also includes features for an optional retaining strap.
Hans Petersen, director responsible for this project, says: "This whole development was very exciting and introduced a new manufacturing process for Magrini. Our objective was to create a simple, functional and beautiful chair, which would fit in to both conservative and modern environments. The feedback has so far been very encouraging. Magrini is such a great company to work with, always open to new ideas."
