BDI member has been appointed to the prestigious award judging panel which includes journalist Hilary Alexander, former Marie Claire Editor Marie O' Riordan, designer Maria Grachvogel and retail expert Frances Card.
The Fashion Monitor Journalism Awards 2013 were launched to celebrate individuals who have shown outstanding contribution to media in 2012. Chaired by Terry Mansfield CBE, formerly President and CEO of The National Magazine Company, the will reflect the crucial role journalism has in informing, educating and entertaining readers and its impact on commercial and brand success.
Sir Phillip Green comments: “I am delighted that the Fashion Monitor Journalism Awards have been launched in 2012, and see these as a credible and relevant way to celebrate the vast array of talent in fashion writing that we have in the UK... Our writers have authority and style and play a crucial role in ensuring that British fashion, and opinion, is at the heart of the global fashion industry.”
Lisa's diverse background has afforded her experience in all aspects of strategic branding and design. She was appointed a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts in 2012 and is a member of British Government's Foreign and Commonwealth Office UK-China Task Force.
